2013 is shaping up to be a aonther very exciting year for the club. Our Master Angler Season opens with a competition on Arklow South Beach (probably the most prolific beach on the East Coast). This year we will also be hosting our hugely popular 3 Man Team Open again in the Courtown Area. It already promises to be bigger & better than last year with several generous sponsors already lined up aswell as superb cash prizes. Hopefully the big smoothies show up during the competition again! We'll also head to kilmore quay for a crack at the reef species down there on one of the Charter boats.

We also have a new Secretary - Clive Ivory who brings a wealth of experience to the role and he is fresh from representing Ireland in The european Champiosnhips in Iceland. So if you want to joing a progressive, welcoming and fun club where new members are always welcome and the help and advice is free from seasoned match anglers to pleasure anglers who just enjoy the banter. Regardless of your fishing experience being an East Coast Raiders will no doubt help you improve as an angler and see you on the fish!

In the club at present we have anglers who have been fishing less than a year and others who have represented Ireland on the international stage with great distinction!
