Welcome to The East Coast Raiders very own web site with all the details of the upcoming events listed for 2012, competition reports and all club information.

2012 is shaping up to be a very exciting year for the club. Our Master Angler season opens with a competition in Ballyhack where last year there were fantastic reports of cod being caught. This year we will also be hosting our first ever 3-man team open competition. It will be held around the Courtown area in September and we are extremely excited about it. With chances of ray and smooth hound it boasts to be an epic competition. There will also be a casting day with lessons from Sports Cast Ireland. And hopefully we can be hitting a few extra yards on our casts. Also this year sees East Coast Raiders hold a competition North of the Liffey. In November the East Coast Raiders will take on the bass along Dunanny with high hopes of some personal best flounder to be taken too.

So in a year full of firsts why not sign up and become a member of a progressive, welcoming and fun club. New members are always welcome and the help and advice is free from seasoned match anglers to pleasure anglers who just enjoy the banter. Regardless of your fishing experience being an East Coast Raider will no doubt help you improve as an angler and see you on the fish!

Membership is now open for 2012, so please don't hesitate to contact our Secretary or Chairman if you have any queries or questions about joining the club. Anglers of all levels more than welcome. In the club at present we have anglers who have been fishing less than a year and others who have represented Ireland on the international stage with great distinction!
